1 Chronicles 29:9-14 ▼

9 And the people rejoiced, because they offered freely, for with a loyal heart they offered freely to YHWH. And also David the king rejoiced with great joy.

10 And David blessed YHWH before all the assembly, and David said, “Blessed are You, O YHWH, God of Israel, our Father, from forever and even to forever.

11 To You, O YHWH, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty, because of everything in the heavens and on earth. To You, O YHWH, is the kingdom, and You are exalted over all as head.

12 And the riches and the honor are from before You, and You reign over all, and in Your hand is power and might, and in Your hand is to exalt and to give strength to all.

13 And now, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.

14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should retain power like this to offer freely? For from You are all things, and from Your hand we have given to You.
