14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should retain power like this to offer freely? For from You are all things, and from Your hand we have given to You. 15 For we are sojourners before You, and pilgrims, as all our fathers. As a shadow are our days on the earth, and without hope. 16 O YHWH our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build for You a house—for Your holy name—is from Your hand, and all is unto You. 17 And I know, my God, that You examine the heart, and in uprightness You are pleased.
