1 These were the divisions of the gatekeepers: From the Korahites (one of Korah): Meshelemiah (whom YHWH repays) son of Kore (crier), one of the sons of Asaph (gatherer). 2 Meshelemiah (whom YHWH repays) had sons: Zechariah (YHWH remembers) the firstborn, Jediael (God makes known) the second, Zebadiah (endowment of YHWH) the third, Jathniel (God hires me) the fourth, 3 Elam (eternity) the fifth, Jehohanan (YHWH has graced) the sixth, and Eliehoenai (unto YHWH are my eyes) the seventh. 1 Chronicles 26:1-3, Berean Annotated Bible.
