1 These were the sons of Israel (he wrestles with God): Reuben (behold a son), Simeon (heard), Levi (joined to), Judah (praised), Issachar (there is recompense), Zebulun (exalted), 2 Dan (He has judged), Joseph (YHWH has added), Benjamin (son of the right hand), Naphtali (wrestling), Gad (troop), and Asher (happy). 3 The sons of Judah (praised): Er (awake), Onan (strong), and Shelah (a petition).
