12 That day David (beloved) feared God {Elohim} and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?” 13 So he (beloved) did not move the ark with him to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom (servant of Edom) the Gittite (belonging to Gath). 14 Thus the ark of God {Elohim} remained with the family of Obed-edom (servant of Edom) in his house for three months, and the LORD {YHWH} blessed his household and everything he owned. 1 Chronicles 13:12-14, Berean Annotated Bible.
