49 When Shaul (desired) died, Baal-hanan (Baal is gracious) son of Achbor (mouse) reigned in his place. 50 When Baal-hanan (Baal is gracious) died, Hadad (mighty) reigned in his place. His city was named Pau [Pai], and his wife’s name was Mehetabel (favored of God) daughter of Matred (pushing forward), the daughter of Me-zahab (waters of gold). 51 Then Hadad (mighty) died. Now the chiefs of Edom were (red) Timna (restrained), Alvah (evil), Jetheth (a nail), 52 Oholibamah (tent of the high place), Elah (An oak), Pinon (darkness), 53 Kenaz (hunter), Teman (south), Mibzar (fortress), 54 Magdiel (prince of God), and Iram (belonging to a city).
