By David. I will give you thanks with my whole heart. Before the gods, I will sing praises to you. I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; Of David. I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all. I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame.
In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul. On the day I called, you answered me; my strength of soul you increased. When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.
All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, Yahweh, for they have heard the words of your mouth. All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of your mouth, May all the kings of the earth praise you, LORD, when they hear what you have decreed.
Yes, they will sing of the ways of Yahweh, for Yahweh’s glory is great! and they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD. May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
For though Yahweh is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but he knows the proud from afar. For though the LORD is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he knows from afar. Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar.
Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.
Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands. The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.
