A Psalm of David. I will give You thanks with all my heart; I sing praises to You before the [pagan] gods. I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; Of David. I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
I will bow down [in worship] toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word together with Your name. I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame.
On the day I called, You answered me; And You made me bold and confident with [renewed] strength in my life. On the day I called, you answered me; my strength of soul you increased. When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.
All the kings of the land will give thanks and praise You, O LORD, When they have heard of the promises of Your mouth [which were fulfilled]. All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of your mouth, May all the kings of the earth praise you, LORD, when they hear what you have decreed.
Yes, they will sing of the ways of the LORD [joyfully celebrating His wonderful acts], For great is the glory and majesty of the LORD. and they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD. May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
Though the LORD is exalted, He regards the lowly [and invites them into His fellowship]; But the proud and haughty He knows from a distance. For though the LORD is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he knows from afar. Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.
The LORD will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O LORD, endures forever— Do not abandon the works of Your own hands. The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.
