20 My sonne, kepe thy fathers commaundement, and forsake not the lawe of thy mother: My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. My son, keep your father’s command and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
21 Tye them continually in thyne heart, and bynde them about thy necke. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck. Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck.
22 That shall leade thee when thou goest, preserue thee when thou art asleepe, and when thou awakest talke with thee. When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you. When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you.
