20 My son, keep the commandment of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother: My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. My son, keep your father’s command and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
21 Bind them continually upon thy heart; Tie them about thy neck. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck. Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck.
22 When thou walkest, it shall lead thee; When thou sleepest, it shall watch over thee; And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you. When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you.
