29 Do not plot evil against your neighbor when he dwells by you unsuspectingly. Do not plan evil against your neighbor, who dwells trustingly beside you. Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you.
30 Do not accuse anyone without legitimate cause, if he has not treated you wrongly. Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm. Do not accuse anyone for no reason— when they have done you no harm.
31 Do not envy a violent man, and do not choose to imitate any of his ways; Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways, Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways.
32 for one who goes astray is an abomination to the LORD, but he reveals his intimate counsel to the upright. for the devious person is an abomination to the LORD, but the upright are in his confidence. For the LORD detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.
33 The LORD's curse is on the household of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the dwelling of the righteous. The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34 Although he is scornful to arrogant scoffers, yet he shows favor to the humble. Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he gives favor. He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.
35 The wise inherit honor, but he holds fools up to public contempt. The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace. The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame.
