| 15 | A continual dropping in a day of rain, || And a woman of contentions are alike, | A continual dripping on a rainy day and a quarrelsome wife are alike; | A quarrelsome wife is like the dripping of a leaky roof in a rainstorm; | |
| 16 | Whoever is hiding her has hidden the wind, || And the ointment of his right hand calls out. | to restrain her is to restrain the wind or to grasp oil in one’s right hand. | restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand. | |
