28 “Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near; “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
29 even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door.
