11 וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ לָהֶ֜ם אֶת־ קִרְיַת֩ אַרְבַּ֨ע אֲבִ֧י הָֽעֲנ֛וֹק הִ֥יא חֶבְר֖וֹן בְּהַ֣ר יְהוּדָ֑ה וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֖הָ סְבִיבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ They gave them Kiriath-arba (Arba being the father of Anak), that is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, along with the pasturelands around it. They gave them Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pastureland, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
12 וְאֶת־ שְׂדֵ֥ה הָעִ֖יר וְאֶת־ חֲצֵרֶ֑יהָ נָֽתְנ֛וּ לְכָלֵ֥ב בֶּן־ יְפֻנֶּ֖ה בַּאֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃ ס But the fields of the city and its villages had been given to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession. But the fields and villages around the city they had given to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.
