3 Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom. Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
7 Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’ Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
