1 Bildad from Shuah responded and said: Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said: Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:
2 |Dominion and fear belong to God; who fashions peace in his high heaven. “Dominion and fear are with God; he makes peace in his high heaven. “Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven.
3 Is there any limit to his armies? On whom does his light not shine? Is there any number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise? Can his forces be numbered? On whom does his light not rise?
4 How can a human being become right with God? How can a human being be pure? How then can man be in the right before God? How can he who is born of woman be pure? How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?
5 Behold, even the moon isn't bright, and the stars aren't pure in his eyes. Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes; If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes,
6 How much less is man, who is only a maggot, or a man's children, who are only worms!| how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!” how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot— a human being, who is only a worm!”
