Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the LORD that faces east. And there at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men. Among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, who were leaders of the people. The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of the LORD, which faces east. And behold, at the entrance of the gateway there were twenty-five men. And I saw among them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. Now the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the LORD’S house which faced eastward. And behold, there were twenty-five men at the entrance of the gate, and among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people. Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the gate of the house of the LORD that faces east. There at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
And the LORD said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who plot evil and give wicked counsel in this city. And he said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city; Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: Then He said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who devise wrongdoing and give evil advice in this city, The LORD said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are plotting evil and giving wicked advice in this city.
They are saying, ‘Is not the time near to build houses? The city is the cooking pot, and we are the meat.’ who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This city is the cauldron, and we are the meat.’ Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh. who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This city is the pot and we are the meat.’ They say, ‘Haven’t our houses been recently rebuilt? This city is a pot, and we are the meat in it.’
Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, O son of man!” Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, O son of man.” Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man. Therefore, prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man!” Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, son of man.”
And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me and told me to declare that this is what the LORD says: “That is what you are thinking, O house of Israel; and I know the thoughts that arise in your minds. And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and he said to me, “Say, Thus says the LORD: So you think, O house of Israel. For I know the things that come into your mind. And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them. Then the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and He said to me, “Say, ‘This is what the LORD says: “This is how you think, house of Israel, for I know your thoughts. Then the Spirit of the LORD came on me, and he told me to say: “This is what the LORD says: That is what you are saying, you leaders in Israel, but I know what is going through your mind.
You have multiplied those you killed in this city and filled its streets with the dead. You have multiplied your slain in this city and have filled its streets with the slain. Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain. You have multiplied your slain in this city, and filled its streets with them.” You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: The slain you have laid within this city are the meat, and the city is the pot; but I will remove you from it. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: “Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it. “Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.
You fear the sword, so I will bring the sword against you, declares the Lord GOD. You have feared the sword, and I will bring the sword upon you, declares the Lord GOD. Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD. You have feared a sword; so I will bring a sword upon you,” the Lord GOD declares. You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.
I will bring you out of the city and deliver you into the hands of foreigners, and I will execute judgments against you. And I will bring you out of the midst of it, and give you into the hands of foreigners, and execute judgments upon you. And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. “And I will bring you out of the midst of the city, and hand you over to strangers, and execute judgments against you. I will drive you out of the city and deliver you into the hands of foreigners and inflict punishment on you.
You will fall by the sword, and I will judge you even to the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD. You shall fall by the sword. I will judge you at the border of Israel, and you shall know that I am the LORD. Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. You will fall by the sword. I will judge you to the border of Israel; so you shall know that I am the LORD. You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
The city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be the meat within it. I will judge you even to the borders of Israel. This city shall not be your cauldron, nor shall you be the meat in the midst of it. I will judge you at the border of Israel, This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel: This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be meat in the midst of it; I will judge you to the border of Israel. This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be the meat in it; I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.
Then you will know that I am the LORD. For you have neither followed My statutes nor practiced My ordinances, but you have conformed to the ordinances of the nations around you.” and you shall know that I am the LORD. For you have not walked in my statutes, nor obeyed my rules, but have acted according to the rules of the nations that are around you.” And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you. So you will know that I am the LORD; for you have not walked in My statutes, nor have you executed My ordinances, but you have acted in accordance with the ordinances of the nations around you.”’” And you will know that I am the LORD, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.”
Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, “Oh, Lord GOD, will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete end?” And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face and cried out with a loud voice and said, “Ah, Lord GOD! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?” And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel? Now it came about, as I prophesied, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice, and said, “Oh, Lord GOD! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete destruction?” Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, “Alas, Sovereign LORD! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?”
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, And the word of the LORD came to me: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, The word of the LORD came to me:
“Son of man, your brothers— your relatives, your fellow exiles, and the whole house of Israel are those of whom the people of Jerusalem have said, ‘They are far away from the LORD; this land has been given to us as a possession.’ “Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, your kinsmen, the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those of whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Go far from the LORD; to us this land is given for a possession.’ Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession. “Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, your fellow exiles, and the entire house of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Keep far from the LORD; this land has been given to us as a possession.’ “Son of man, the people of Jerusalem have said of your fellow exiles and all the other Israelites, ‘They are far away from the LORD; this land was given to us as our possession.’
Therefore declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries to which they have gone.’ Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.’ Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “Though I had removed them far away among the nations, and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries where they had gone.”’ “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’
Therefore declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you from the countries to which you have been scattered, and I will give back to you the land of Israel.’ Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.’ Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. Therefore say, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you from the countries among which you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.”’ “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’
When they return to it, they will remove all its detestable things and all its abominations. And when they come there, they will remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. When they come there, they will remove all its detestable things and all its abominations from it. “They will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols.
And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh, And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
so that they may follow My statutes, keep My ordinances, and practice them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God. that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. so that they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
But as for those whose hearts pursue detestable things and abominations, I will bring their conduct down upon their own heads, declares the Lord GOD.” But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their deeds upon their own heads, declares the Lord GOD.” But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD. But as for those whose hearts go after their detestable things and abominations, I will bring their conduct down on their heads,” declares the Lord GOD. But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD.”
Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them. Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them. Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them. Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
And the glory of the LORD rose up from within the city and stood over the mountain east of the city. And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain that is on the east side of the city. And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city. The glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood over the mountain which is east of the city. The glory of the LORD went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain east of it.
And the Spirit lifted me up and carried me back to Chaldea, to the exiles in the vision given by the Spirit of God. After the vision had gone up from me, And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen went up from me. Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God to Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen left me. The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia in the vision given by the Spirit of God. Then the vision I had seen went up from me,
I told the exiles everything the LORD had shown me. And I told the exiles all the things that the LORD had shown me. Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me. And I told the exiles all the things that the LORD had shown me. and I told the exiles everything the LORD had shown me.
