6 but showing loving devotion to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments. but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. but showing favor to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave anyone unpunished who takes His name in vain. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, but on the seventh day He rested. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. For <i>in</i> six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them <i>is</i>, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 18 When all the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the sounding of the ram’s horn, and the mountain enveloped in smoke, they trembled and stood at a distance. Now when all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid and trembled, and they stood far off And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw <i>it</i>, they removed, and stood afar off. And all the people were watching <i>and hearing</i> the thunder and the lightning flashes, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw <i>it all,</i> they trembled and stood at a distance. When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance
19 “Speak to us yourself and we will listen,” they said to Moses. “But do not let God speak to us, or we will die.” and said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.” And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. Then they said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but do not have God speak to us, or we will die!” and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”
20 “Do not be afraid,” Moses replied. “For God has come to test you, so that the fear of Him may be before you, to keep you from sinning.” Moses said to the people, “Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.” And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. However, Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you will not sin.” Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”
21 And the people stood at a distance as Moses approached the thick darkness where God was. The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was. And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God <i>was</i>. So the people stood at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God <i>was.</i> The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.
22 Then the LORD said to Moses, “This is what you are to tell the Israelites: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven. And the LORD said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the people of Israel: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have talked with you from heaven. And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. Then the LORD said to Moses, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:
23 You are not to make any gods alongside Me; you are not to make for yourselves gods of silver or gold. You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold. Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. You shall not make <i>other gods</i> besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves. Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
24 You are to make for Me an altar of earth, and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and peace offerings, your sheep and goats and cattle. In every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you. An altar of earth you shall make for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I cause my name to be remembered I will come to you and bless you. An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you. “’Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.
25 Now if you make an altar of stones for Me, you must not build it with stones shaped by tools; for if you use a chisel on it, you will defile it. If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones, for if you wield your tool on it you profane it. And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. And if you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build it of cut stones, for if you wield your chisel on it, you will profane it. If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it.
26 And you must not go up to My altar on steps, lest your nakedness be exposed on it.’ And you shall not go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not exposed on it.’ Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. And you shall not go up by steps to My altar, so that your nakedness will not be exposed on it.’ And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts may be exposed.’
