1 וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ אִ֖ישׁ מִבֵּ֣ית לֵוִ֑י וַיִּקַּ֖ח אֶת־ בַּת־ לֵוִֽי׃ Now a man from the house of Levi went and took as his wife a Levite woman. Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman,
2 וַתַּ֥הַר הָאִשָּׁ֖ה וַתֵּ֣לֶד בֵּ֑ן וַתֵּ֤רֶא אֹתוֹ֙ כִּי־ ט֣וֹב ה֔וּא וַֽתִּצְפְּנֵ֖הוּ שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה יְרָחִֽים׃ The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months. and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months.
