| 3 | And the king said to them: I saw a dream: and being troubled in mind I know not what I saw. | And the king said to them, “I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.” | he said to them, “I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.” | |
| 4 | And the Chaldeans answered the king in Syriac: O king, live for ever: tell to thy servants thy dream, and we will declare the interpretation thereof. | Then the Chaldeans said to the king in Aramaic, “O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.” | Then the astrologers answered the king, “May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.” | |
