6 Now among these of the children of Judah were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Among these were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah of the tribe of Judah. Among those who were chosen were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.
7 The prince of the eunuchs gave names to them: to Daniel he gave the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego. And the chief of the eunuchs gave them names: Daniel he called Belteshazzar, Hananiah he called Shadrach, Mishael he called Meshach, and Azariah he called Abednego. The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.
