Yahweh said, “It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.” | Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year. And the LORD said, “There is bloodguilt on Saul and on his house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.” | During the reign of David, there was a famine for three successive years; so David sought the face of the LORD.
