1Oh that youⁱ would rend (tear apart; forcefully rip apart) the heavens, that youⁱ would come down, that the mountains might flow down at yourⁱ presence!

2As [when] the melting fire burns, the fire causes the waters to boil, to make youⁱ name known to yourⁱ adversaries, [that] the nations may tremble at yourⁱ presence!

3When youⁱ did terrible things [which] we looked not for, youⁱ came down, the mountains flowed down at yourⁱ presence.

4For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God-Elohim (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], beside youⁱ, [what] he has prepared for him that waits for him.

5Youⁱ meet him that rejoices and works righteousness, [those that] remember youⁱ in yourⁱ ways: behold, youⁱ are exceedingly angry; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

6But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

7And [there is] none that calls upon yourⁱ name, that stirs up himself to take hold of youⁱ: for youⁱ have hid yourⁱ face from us, and have consumed us, because of our iniquities.

8But now, O LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), youⁱ [are] our father; we [are] the clay, and youⁱ our potter; and we all [are] the work of yourⁱ hand.

9Be not exceedingly angry very sore, O LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), neither remember iniquity forever: behold, see, we beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youⁱ, we [are] all youⁱ people.

10Your1s holy cities are a wilderness, Tziyon [parched place] is a wilderness, Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] a desolation.

11Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised youⁱ, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

12Will youⁱ refrain yourself for these [things], O LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate)? will youⁱ hold yourⁱ peace, and afflict us very sore?
