Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe,
for she thought, "If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed."
When the people recognized Jesus, the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed.
He had healed many people that day, so all the sick people eagerly pushed forward to touch him.
Wherever he went--in villages, cities, or the countryside--they brought the sick out to the marketplaces. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.
When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him.
Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.
