Discourse 6 "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: Otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Kings 5:7
When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes in dismay and said, "This man sends me a leper to heal! Am I God, that I can give life and take it away? I can see that he's just trying to pick a fight with me."

Later the leaders sent some Pharisees and supporters of Herod to trap Jesus into saying something for which he could be arrested.
As Jesus was leaving, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees became hostile and tried to provoke him with many questions.
Watching for their opportunity, the leaders sent spies pretending to be honest men. They tried to get Jesus to say something that could be reported to the Roman governor so he would arrest Jesus.
So they failed to trap him by what he said in front of the people. Instead, they were amazed by his answer, and they became silent.
But don't do it! There are more than forty men hiding along the way ready to ambush him. They have vowed not to eat or drink anything until they have killed him. They are ready now, just waiting for your consent."
