But this is what will save me--I am not godless. If I were, I could not stand before him.
For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be sung to the tune "Death of the Son." I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.
O LORD, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.
In that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song: Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God's salvation.
"Comfort, comfort my people," says your God.
