LibraryThe Paradox of Love's Measure
The breadth, and length, and depth, and height.'--Eph. iii. 18. Of what? There can, I think, be no doubt as to the answer. Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
1 Corinthians 2:7
No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God--his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else--not only in this world but also in the world to come.
And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
