He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones--the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the LORD!
bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far," says the LORD, who heals them.
This promise is to you, and to your children, and even to the Gentiles--all who have been called by the Lord our God."
This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel--that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.
