Again and again I sent all my servants the prophets to you. They said, "Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your ancestors." But you have not paid attention or listened to me.

Time after time I sent you prophets, who told you, "Turn from your wicked ways, and start doing things right. Stop worshiping other gods so that you might live in peace here in the land I have given to you and your ancestors." But you would not listen to me or obey me.

Time and time again I have sent you all My servants the prophets, proclaiming: Turn, each one from his evil way of life, and correct your actions. Stop following other gods to serve them. Live in the land that I gave you and your ancestors. But you would not pay attention or obey Me.

És elküldtem hozzátok minden én szolgámat, a prófétákat, és pedig jó reggel küldém, mondván: Kérlek, kiki térjen meg az õ gonosz útjáról, jobbítsátok meg cselekedeteiteket, és idegen istenek után ne járjatok, hogy nékik szolgáljatok, és lakoztok a földön, a melyet néktek és a ti atyáitoknak adtam, de fületeket sem hajtátok reá, és nem hallgattatok reám.

Dazu habe ich unermüdlich immer wieder alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, zu euch gesandt, euch zu sagen: Bekehrt euch doch ein jeder von seinem bösen Weg und befleißigt euch guter Thaten und wandelt nicht andern Göttern nach, um ihnen zu dienen, so werdet ihr auf dem Boden wohnen bleiben, den ich euch und euren Vätern verliehen habe! - aber ihr neigtet euer Ohr nicht und hörtet nicht auf mich.
