Interwoven Gospels And having received a cup and given thanks, Jesus said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God be come." Then, as they were eating, Jesus took a loaf, and when He had given thanks, and blessed it. He broke it and gave to His disciples, saying, "Take, eat; this is My body, which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me." In like manner also He took the cup after the paschal supper, and when He had given thanks, He gave to them, saying, "Drink all ye of it": and they all drank of it. And He said to them, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you and in behalf of many, for remission of sins. This do, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. Verily I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of God My Father."
