15And the word of LORD JEHOVAH was upon Jeremiah when he was shut up in the court of the Guard: 16“Go and say to Ebed Melek the Kushite, “Thus says LORD JEHOVAH of Hosts, God of Israel: ‘Behold, I bring words on this city for evil, and not for good, and they shall be before you in that day 17And I shall save you in that day, says LORD JEHOVAH, and you shall not be handed over into the hand of the men whom you fear 18And I shall save you, and you shall not fall by the sword and you shall deliver your soul, because you have trusted upon me, says LORD JEHOVAH’”
