HEB: וְאִם־ לֹ֤א מִדְּאָגָה֙ מִדָּבָ֔ר עָשִׂ֥ינוּ
NAS: this out of concern, for a reason,
KJV: And if we have not [rather] done it for fear of [this] thing,
