Sirach 4:4
Good News Translation
Don't refuse to help a beggar who is in distress. Don't turn your back on a poor person or give him any reason to curse you.

Do not reject a suppliant in distress, or turn your face away from the poor.

When people ask for help, don't turn them down; and if others are in need, don't turn away.
