Sirach 39:5
Good News Translation
It is his practice to get up early and pray aloud to the Lord his Creator, asking the Most High to forgive his sins.

New Revised Standard Version
He sets his heart to rise early to seek the Lord who made him, and to petition the Most High; he opens his mouth in prayer and asks pardon for his sins.

Contemporary English Version
These teachers get up early to pray to the Lord Most High, their Creator-- they tell him what they need and ask that their sins be forgiven.
