Sirach 22:22
New Revised Standard Version
If you open your mouth against your friend, do not worry, for reconciliation is possible. But as for reviling, arrogance, disclosure of secrets, or a treacherous blow— in these cases any friend will take to flight.

And you can argue with friends and later, win them back. But if you are arrogant and insult them, if you tell their secrets or harm them when they trusted you, they will be gone for good.
