Sirach 15:11
Good News Translation
Don't blame the Lord for your sin; the Lord does not cause what he hates.

New Revised Standard Version
Do not say, “It was the Lord’s doing that I fell away”; for he does not do what he hates.

Contemporary English Version
The Lord hates it when you say that he forced you to sin.

Do not say: “It was God’s doing that I fell away,” for what he hates he does not do.
