Sirach 13:23
Good News Translation
When a rich person speaks, everyone is silent, and they praise him to the skies for what he says. But let a poor person speak, and everybody says, "Who is that?" They push him down if he so much as stumbles.

New Revised Standard Version
The rich person speaks and all are silent; they extol to the clouds what he says. The poor person speaks and they say, “Who is this fellow?” And should he stumble, they even push him down.

Contemporary English Version
When the rich speak, everyone listens with great respect. But if the poor speak, everyone asks, "Just who do they think they are?" And if the poor start to trip, people give them a push.
