Sirach 13:21
Good News Translation
When a rich person stumbles, his friends will steady him, but if a poor person falls, his friends will have nothing to do with him.

New Revised Standard Version
When the rich person totters, he is supported by friends, but when the humble falls, he is pushed away even by friends.

Contemporary English Version
When the rich start to stumble their friends lend a hand, but let the poor fall down, and their friends pretend not to know them.
