Good News Translation
This is not the first time you have shown wisdom. Ever since you were a child, all of us have recognized the soundness and maturity of your judgment.

Today is not the first time your wisdom has been shown, but from the beginning of your life all the people have recognized your understanding, for your heart’s disposition is right.

And this is certainly not the first time you have spoken so wisely. Even as a child, you showed good sense, and the people of Bethulia have always known how wise and fair your decisions are.
