2 Maccabees 8:32
Good News Translation
They executed the commanding officer of Timothy's forces, a godless man who had caused the Jews much suffering.

They killed the commander of Timothy’s forces, a most wicked man, and one who had greatly troubled the Jews.

The commander of Timothy's army was cruel and had mistreated our people, and so he was put to death.
