2 Maccabees 7:39
Good News Translation
These words of ridicule made Antiochus so furious that he had the boy tortured even more cruelly than his brothers.

The king fell into a rage, and handled him worse than the others, being exasperated at his scorn.

When Antiochus realized that the boy was mocking him, he became more furious than ever and tortured him worse than the others.
