2 Maccabees 12:28
Good News Translation
But the Jews prayed for help to the Lord, who crushes the power of his enemies. So they captured the city and killed about 25,000 people.

But the Jews called upon the Sovereign who with power shatters the might of his enemies, and they got the town into their hands, and killed as many as twenty-five thousand of those who were in it.

Our troops prayed for help from our mighty Lord, who crushes powerful enemies. Then we captured Ephron and killed almost 25,000 people.
