2 Maccabees 12:10
Good News Translation
When Judas and his men were about a mile away from Jamnia on their way to meet Timothy in battle, they were attacked by more than 5,000 Arabs, supported by 500 cavalry.

New Revised Standard Version
When they had gone more than a mile from there, on their march against Timothy, at least five thousand Arabs with five hundred cavalry attacked them.

Contemporary English Version
Judas and his troops left Jamnia to go after Timothy. But about a kilometer and a half from town, they were attacked by a force of almost 5,000 Arabs and 500 cavalry.

When the Jews had gone about a mile from there in the march against Timothy, they were attacked by Arabians numbering at least five thousand foot soldiers and five hundred cavalry.
