Good News Translation
When he came to Judas, they exchanged polite greetings, but Judas' enemies were ready to kidnap him.

So he came to Judas, and they greeted one another peaceably; but the enemy were preparing to kidnap Judas.

Contemporary English Version
Nicanor gave orders for his bodyguards to kidnap Judas. So Nicanor went with them to the camp, where Nicanor greeted him like a friend.
