Good News Translation
If you are unwilling to do this, then you must pay me 30,000 pounds of silver, and 30,000 additional pounds of silver to compensate me for damages and for lost taxes. If you refuse to do either of these, we will go to war against you."

New Revised Standard Version
or else pay me five hundred talents of silver for the destruction that you have caused and five hundred talents more for the tribute money of the cities. Otherwise we will come and make war on you.”

Contemporary English Version
If you don't want to do this, then pay 500,000 pieces of silver for damaging the towns you captured. And turn over to me 500,000 more to make up for the tax money you took from the towns. If you don't do this, it's war!
