Why don't you send them home? Choose a few men to stay with you, and then accompany me to Ptolemais. I will hand the city over to you, as well as the rest of the fortresses, the troops, and all the officials. Then I will turn around and leave. In fact, that's why I am here."

Dismiss them now to their homes and choose for yourself a few men to stay with you, and come with me to Ptolemais. I will hand it over to you as well as the other strongholds and the remaining troops and all the officials, and will turn around and go home. For that is why I am here.”

I've come here to give you the city of Ptolemais and the other fortresses and to put you in charge of all the officers and troops. After I've done this, I'll go home. Choose a few troops to go with you and me to Ptolemais, then send the others back to Judea.
