Good News Translation
When Demetrius heard this, he was furious and immediately moved his headquarters to Ptolemais. He wrote to Jonathan and ordered him to lift the siege and to meet him for a conference in Ptolemais without a moment's delay.

When he heard this he was angry, and as soon as he heard it he set out and came to Ptolemais; and he wrote Jonathan not to continue the siege, but to meet him for a conference at Ptolemais as quickly as possible.

Demetrius became furious, and right away he went to the city of Ptolemais. From there he wrote a letter to Jonathan and said, "Stop attacking the fortress in Jerusalem! Come to Ptolemais as soon as you can. We need to talk."
