θαυμάσιος, θαυμάσια, θαυμάσιον, rarely of two terminations (θαῦμα) (from Hesiod, Homer (h. Merc. 443) down), wonderful, marvellous; neuter plural θαυμάσια (the Sept. often for נִפְלָאות, also for פֶּלֶא), wonderful deeds, wonders: Matthew 21:15. (Cf.
