This misery was corporeally emaciating. 2. This misery lasted as long as the silence. 3. This misery was felt to be from God. II. SIN CONFESSED, DIVINELY REMOVED FROM THE SOUL. 1. The removal of sin from man is a possible act. 2. A blessed act. 3. An encouraging act. 4. A saving act, (1) It makes safe in the greatest dangers. (2) It secures the protection of God Himself.
