THAT THE WORK OF THE BEST OF US NEEDS REVISION BY OTHERS. "Set in order," lit., "revise, make straight." III. THAT EVERY COMPANY OF CHRISTIANS SHOULD HAVE A LEADER OR OVERSEER. "Elders in every city," is suggestive of the widespread influence of the gospel in Crete, which was famous for its cities.
